EU-wide logo to protect patients from falsified medicines

Patients in the European Union (EU) can now easily identify legally operating online medicine retailers. To help them identify trustworthy sites, an EU-wide logo will appear on the websites of online retailers that are registered in an EU Member State.

HI Weldricks has been one of the first online Pharmacies in the country to be issued with a logo which can be found at the footer of every page on our site. This logo verifies that we have been approved to sell General sale, Pharmacy only and Prescription only medicines.

When buying medicines or ordering NHS Prescriptions online, consumers must be aware that unless they buy from legally-operating online medicine suppliers, they run the risk of buying falsified medicines, which are usually ineffective, substandard and dangerous.

Changes to our operations and service

Please bear with us and be kind to our staff. We are exceptionally busy and re-organising our services to provide free delivery to all those customers who have been instructed by the government to self isolate and who have no-one else who can collect for them.

  • Our opening hours have CHANGED. We are now open from 9 AM-6PM Monday to Friday and 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays.
  • Delivery is now only available to the over 70s, people with underlying health conditions who have be written to by the NHS, people that must self isolate due to displaying Coronavirus symptoms and have no-one who can collect for them.
  • Please queue outside with 2m gap between each person.
